Gary Dexter has published four novels, The Oxford Despoiler (2009), All the Materials for a Midnight Feast (2012), Natural Desire in Healthy Women (2014) and Birdwatching at the End of the World (2024), as well as numerous non-fiction books. Now and then he writes short autobiographies such as this one. He currently lives in Tokyo.
